Bowdon Church Brow white house and Morris Minor

Bowdon White House and Morris Minor

The elegant Victorian residential district of Bowdon has retained many elements of the past.

I was quite taken by this scene with the Morris Minor, stone wall, creepers and house above, as there are virtually no contemporary elements visible. This could be perhaps be 1983 or 1963.

Only the visual quality of the photograph - taken on a digital camera - tells us that this is a recent image.

My sister, Phil (Philomena) lived in Bowdon during the early 60’s.
